Spring Clean Up

ONE DAY ONLY! The City’s Annual Spring Clean-up for the entire town will be Thursday, May 11th. This annual event gives all our residents a chance to get rid of unwanted items and helps promote beautification of our City. The City feels this is a worthwhile service to our residents and an investment in the tidiness of our community. During Spring Clean-Up, city workers will pick up: NO MORE THAN 1 of the following items: Refrigerators, Dryers, Washers, Bicycles, Box springs, Mattresses, Furniture, Freezers, Carpet, Tricycles, Air Conditioners, Lawn Mowers, Water Heaters, & Doors.
ITEMS IN CARDBOARD BOXES WILL NOT BE PICKED UP!!!
CAR PARTS WEIGHING NO ORE THAN 40 POUNDS AND SCRP METAL WILL BE PICKE UP.
ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP INCLUDES: TIRES, NEW CONSTRUCTION OR DEMOLITION DEBRIS, CONCRETE, BRICKS, ASPHALTS, ROOFING, MATERIALS AND WASTES THAT ARE TOXIC, HAZARDOUS, INFECTIOUS, EXPLOSIVE OR LIQUIDS.
