DESCRIPTION:2025 Art Contest\nArt submissions April 23rd through May 23rd\, 2025 \n\nDrop off art with submission form at the American Gothic House            Center\nNo entry fee\nBest in Show judging by the public June 4th through June 8th in   the American Gothic House Center\n\nThe community of Eldon\, Iowa\, is home of the little white house in Grant Wood’s most famous painting American Gothic. The American Gothic House Center invites students and members of the public to participate in our annual art contest. Kick-off for art submissions will begin April 23rd and entries will be accepted until 4:00 PM on May 23rd. Judging by a panel will determine 1st and 2nd places in the following categories: K-2nd\, 3-5th\, 6-8th\, 9-12th\, and Adult. All submissions will be on display in the American Gothic House Center during our regular operating hours. Public voting for Best in Show will be in-person only beginning June 4th though June 8th. Cash prizes to winners.\nLimit of 2 art pieces per person. Contest submission form can be found at either of our websites\, Facebook event\, or at the Center. This contest is sponsored in part by the Ottumwa Area Arts Council.
