The City of Eldon will be holding a Public Hearing to review an application for a State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan and to make available to the public the contents of an environmental information document and the City’s project plan. These documents include design and environmental information related to the proposed improvements to the City’s sanitary sewer collection system.
The proposed project will extend the 4-inch force main from the intersection of High Street and 9th Street through town to the City of Eldon’s lagoon lift station, approximately 10,600 feet. The pipe installation will require a maximum of 22 bore pit locations approximately 8 feet x 10 feet in size, and hydrovacing. The force main will be installed within existing right-of-way and city-owned property. Modifications within the Cardinal pump station and Eldon pump station will be completed as necessary. The project will include all necessary connections and appurtenances.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to inform area residents of the community of Eldon of this proposed action, discuss the actual cost and user fees associated with this project, and to address citizen’s concerns, if any, with the plan.
The Public Hearing location and time are as follows:
MAY 12, 2026 AT 5:30 P.M.
ELDON CITY HALL
100 5TH STREET
