Special Meeting Minutes

The Eldon City Council met in special session on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Eldon City Hall with Mayor McClure presiding. Council members answering roll call were Tom Bedford, Andrew Birch, Craig Brown, Stacey Doree, and David Showman. The meeting was called to order at 4:00pm.

Motion by Showman to authorize the agenda, second by Doree, all aye, motion carried.

Motion by Showman to authorize 2026 street repairs, second by Doree, all aye, motion carried.

Motion by Bedford to authorize repairs to the street lights on Elm Street for up to $60.00 for each light and $1,500.00 for labor to Ridgway Electric, second by Showman, all aye, motion carried.

Motion by Showman to authorize up to $10,000.00 for the purchase of a generator, second by Doree, all aye, motion carried.

Motion by Showman to adjourn, second by Brown, all aye, motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 4:29 pm.
