The Eldon City Council met in special session on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Eldon City Hall with Mayor McClure presiding. Council members answering roll call were Tom Bedford, Craig Brown, and David Showman. Andrew Birch and Stacey Doree were absent. The meeting was called to order at 4:04pm.
Motion by Showman to authorize the agenda, second by Brown, all aye, motion carried.
Motion by Showman to hire Chase Coffman for the part-time position, second by Bedford, all aye, motion carried.
Motion by Showman to authorize installing protection for the air conditioning at 421 W Elm, second by Brown, all aye, motion carried.
Motion by Showman to adjourn, second by Bedford, all aye, motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 4:08pm.
